The fire's crackling nicely as he poured his mate a glassful of sweet, spiced, red wine, bubbling over the flames.
She smiles up to him and they talk about the year that has passed them by. The harvest is done, winter is here and the cold has come.
Now it's time to stock up, make merry and keep warm together under their snug roof and sleep the frost out.
With another log tended to the flames, they sit, drink and gaze at each other, laughing.
"A good year would you not say?" she whispers
"True" replies the male "But perhaps an even better one to come."

This Christmas-themed picture you've done of these anthro foxes looks very nice.
Very nice and romantic
Wow, this is really good :3 And I love the... 'texture'? of the foxes, how they're not just, straight lines and colour, but more sorta rough, and...fluffy? x3
And then there's the lighting, the scene, the warmness, awesome :3
hehe thanks. that fox is so cute :3
This is beautiful, and has a very warm feeling which is perfect for this time of year.
